3D-pokerWhen playing experience mattersThere are not many 3D-poker rooms represented online when I write this article and the 3D poker room market has just just begun offering new playing experiences for online poker players. One common thing for the 3D poker rooms I have seen until now is that it is quite hard to play multiple tables. On the other hand - playing only one table is so much more fun! Here are some extra features you will get when playing 3D poker:
A closer look at a 3D poker room ( PKR )
This is one of the more natural views which makes it quite easy to play. Please pay attention to how your hole cards are shown - just like in a TV broadcasting! Of course everything is also animated, which gives great feeling. Too bad it also makes it hard to play more than one table.
The flop is shown in a square down to the left on the screen. For some camera angles it would be nearly impossible to focus on the game if the hole cards weren't shown this way.
Pictures above : This is how it can look like if you let the camera move freely. It is gives a great feeling of action, but it is hardly playable... I would definitely recommend a fixed camera view. At least if you play real money Hold'em.
Pictures above : Here is where you change the look of your character. At the beginning there isn't much to choose but you will unlock new outfits when playing. Btw... When do we get virtual reality poker? |
